Testimony Jesutofunmi Entry 5

HOME IS NOW A PICTURE OF CHAOS

A bird without nest flies without perching
When home is now in shambles
Like a flower in a war zone gasping
For survival - hot it bubbles!

Vultures finds pleasure in our home
Hooting silent swirls - song of ashes;
A disharmony of notes. Home is not home
As gun powder razed it down to ashes.

Bullets invades our home
Shattering our ancestral mirror; a reflection of hope.
Shall we not then find solace in Rome
When gun powder pushes us down the rope.
