Olaniyi Ololade Entry 16 Flawless

Flawless He adorns the sky with the sparkling stars,  As the moon and the sun unleash their light.  He wets the world with rains as he heals our scars,  Is flawless work shall I praise both day and night!  He made the sea and the gurlgling river,  His mighty hands spread to mountains and hills.  Every soul hail him, before him they quiver!   As he heals the weak from wounds and pay their bills.  He made lion roar and made the eagles soar.  His wonders shall reflect in my lines and verse'.  No one can stand his thunderous voice when he roars,  Flawless is he — the creator of the universe!

PHENOMENAL WOMAN The phenomenal woman, she moves through the world, With acute sense of confidence and grace. Her flawless beauty defies the power of word And with her splendour, she commands honour and praise.  Like the eagle's flash, she strikes the heart With beaming smiles that drive away sadness And there within her lids, is a beauty of art, A perfect portrait of Mona Lisa's flawlessness. Softly, yet firmly, she speaks her words without fear And the life she portrays is of her own beautification Aptly, yet humbly, she brands herself with unique flair And the aura she carries arouses the noble's admiration.

FLAWLESS (one handed pianist) Hath thou my child the fairy tale Of the ancient pianist that plays in the days and nights, Who successfully injects amusement in the palace by the doorway, The one handed pianist that dribbles emotions by his right That plays by his might, Before him fugues that he could play in his dreams Hath thou fancy the tale, the only pianist of his time, Before the world only him, the handicap but the flawless pianist Hath thou, how he reminisced on the keynotes with ease, How lovers stagger and fall into tears by his might, In his years he lives by the king Of the world, the pianist! the crowd would cry

Obinefo Ibrahim Micheal Entry 12 Flawless

A man had to grow tall, and look back to see his own smallness.  But we have grown above all, we could pluck the sun and shroud it into dullness.  That is not to say, We didn't step into shadows to hide our fears.  That is not to say,  We didn't embrace the bullet in flood of tears.  But we are made of stones,                            Made of bones buried in blood.                        We can puncture silence without tones,  Cos we are Africans as flawless as God.

Achimugwu Stephen Entry 11 Flawless

Words desperately flee me Expressions fail to define, to define my flaws. Untold tales told only by my scars and thaws Who can save me? Who can set free? Dancing endlessly,to drums of my flaws tuned, Clasped behind the cloak of imperfection. Savoring my days and nights in disaffection, Engulfed, in my bruises always attuned. Alas! I am but careless and reckless. Imperfect, vulnerable and unwanted. Hard hours haunted, in nightmares hunted. Bold bruise,  Sweet scared, fiercely fearless and flawed flawless

Odemakin Taiwo Hassan Entry6 Flawless

Name that mantra many live by, To some, it's just one of life doors, Fears abound, tears around, flying floors. That's the cloud their birds fly. Throwing thick thoughts through thorns, A resolution, in every way. Finding reasons, opportunities to always slay, Taking each and every bull by their horns. Flawless, it's more than just a word, Many try, some live, others survive, A pouting path even after five, Flawless, a whole new world. Odemakin Taiwo Hassan.

Testimony Jesutofunmi Entry 5

HOME IS NOW A PICTURE OF CHAOS A bird without nest flies without perching  When home is now in shambles  Like a flower in a war zone gasping  For survival - hot it bubbles!  Vultures finds pleasure in our home Hooting silent swirls - song of ashes;  A disharmony of notes. Home is not home As gun powder razed it down to ashes.  Bullets invades our home  Shattering our ancestral mirror; a reflection of hope.  Shall we not then find solace in Rome When gun powder pushes us down the rope.

Christopher Olamide Entry 3 Flawless

.FLAWLESS?? Sanctify me Holy one, your word is True and Light. For I want to be made perfectly whole, lest my sins put me to a flight_ ozing out from my past deeds that caused a loophole. Enough of staying bounded; taken as an hostage in the deepest part of their coven called: 'The crass dungeon', where they don't even know what speaks of my age. Alas! Would I not evoke the spirit of Charles Spurgeon? For I want to be free by His Justice; called into glory being spotless and blameless, knowing well: my vindication is Just-His, Because from the court of the accusers, He has called me flawless.

Flawless by Damilare Samson Abioye

Flawless By Damilare Samson Abioye Take me to the land, Away from this hustling and bustling. Where the soul is made to tranquil without panic, Where the sounds of birds is perceived , And the heart melts at the glimpse of it's serenity. Take me to the land, Oblivious to my present world. A place far from the evil deeds of men, Where peace reign and Justice is not delayed. So that sowers reap and the slothful ripped.   Take me the land, Where a friend in need is truly a friend indeed, Where no man takes solace in greed. A place where no man is laying fat on another's wealth, And the real happiness of life is found in health.

INDEPENDENCE BUT NOT FREEDOM

Just like yesterday, eyes twinkled graciously when the GREEN WHITE GREEN symbol was hoisted in ladies at exactly 12:01am. What great joy blossomed on the faces of joyous Nigerians when sir Ahmadu Tafawa Balewa gave a speech that between an old era and a new beginning. The song that flew across the lips of joyous Nigerians was 'Nigeria we hail thee our own dear native land' My dear Nigeria is a country glowing with milk and honey A country on whose soils the roots of greatness lies A country with resources immeasurable like the birds in the sky or like the water in the ocean A country with people so strong that they made medicine sick. But its 59years,59 years of struggling, 59years of toiling, 59years of wailing, 59years of yearning, 59 years of hoping. Little did we know that we only gained independence in 1960 but not freedom. What can be done to break this pain? What can be done to break this shackles of rankle How can we proffer a solution to this situations? An...
